My family application package was rejected at VFS this morning when DHL attempted to deliver it. All the application passports were in different envelops with their documents. Then, they were put together in a global envelop before sending to VFS Abuja office. I just tracked this morning and discovered that it was not collected. The passports are still in Abuja as I type. What can I do to remedy the situation? Please advise.

Please note that I paid transmission fee for the mother only. All kids are below 10 years. Please help

I need some clarification here.

If one applies for SOWP with spouse at the same time she is putting in an application for study permit, is it true that he will first be given a visitor's visa from the home country once it's approved while the SOWP will be obtained after arrival in Canada.

Kindly clarify as my spouse just got accepted for a course in manitoba and we are about to apply for visa.

If one applies for SOWP, his passport will be stamped to allow him enter Canada (visa), and he will get his SOWP at the port of entry.

One the other hand, if one applies for visitor visa, his passport will be stamped to allow him enter Canada (visa), and he will get a visitor record at the port of entry.

Hi,

Since they are US citizens, I will advise you wait till they get to the port of entry, and they can just get their visitor record (that can be used to study). And if you still want study permit for them, you can apply at the port of entry too.

Been almost a year now I did biometrics...... biometrics done - 16 march 2021.....

Still no PPR.....

Anyone having same timeline as mine please indicate let's give one another hope because I swear it ain't easy...don't know what's wrong....they should even reject the application sef so I can start at fresh but nothing....am scared.... frustrated and depressed at same time

If you want to test your patience, try applying for Canadian Visa. Though for some, responses have been fairly fast.
But for your case, if you apply for visitor's Visa through the GCKEY, please reapply through the new portal

Done medicals.....done biometric....all through March/April...still nothing....

I swear down it's heart breaking when I come here and see people's PPR testimony and it's like mine has been forgotten...

Send them webform and mail that your application has passed their standard processing time of 36weeks currently and it way long overdue they will respond. Also contact your mp from your spouse constituency here in canada and tell them your plight they will also help followup. Is it a stand alone sowp?

It will soon turn out positive for you but if I am on your shoe, I will proceed to apply for Visitor's visa.

I have been waiting since 2021 December, just be patient your PPR is almost here
God will do it. I understand its not easy, but keeping busy and trying to remove ones mind from it can help a little
Your waiting period is almost over.
