Hello everyone...

Kindly explain how to go about the health insurance. Since it's among the documents needed to submit at the embassy.

Thanks so much.

@ fasanmioo,

Travel/health insurance is one of the mandatory documents to be submitted at the Polish embassy for visa processing. The premium (cost) depends on the numbers of days/months for the intended trip.

THE SCOPE OF COVER INCLUDES:
1. MEDICAL EXPENSES & REPATRIATION
2. PERSONAL ACCIDENT
3. LOSS OF CHECKED-IN BAGGAGE
4. DELAY OF CHECKED-IN BAGGAGE
5. LOSS OF PASSPORT
6. PERSONAL LIABILITY
7. HIJACK DISTRESS ALLOWANCE

OTHER BENEFITS:
A. Financial Emergency Assistance
B. Travel Delay
C. Trip Cancellation & Interruption
D. Bounced Booking - Hotel and Airlines

NOTE:

1. It's advisable to take out travel insurance, regardless of where you're travelling to.
2. All the Schengen countries have mandatory travel insurance as a requirement.
3. Embassies only recognize/accept Travel Insurance from few selected insurance companies, so don’t just go & pick up travel insurance from unacceptable insurance companies. You can be refused visa for that.

Cornerstone Travel Insurance certificate is accepted by all consulates and embassies representing countries in the Schengen area and it also guarantees a coverage of up to 30,000 euros in conformity with the European directive.

Kindly check signature for contact details.

Best regards

Nope. There are very good insurance companies that issue travel insurance that are accepted at the various embassies and consulates in Nigeria.

However, I mentioned Cornerstone Insurance because I am sure of it.

Greetings to everyone who's contributed to the progress of this discussion.
Please, since the Polish embassy reopened in Nigeria two months ago, has anyone who did their visa interview been issued visa?
I'm asking cos it seems these people are not issuing visas yet but simply giving out appointment dates to we Nigerians.
If you did your visa interview since the embassy reopened in August and you've gotten your visa, please indicate so as to give some of us hope.

Hello, I am trying to run my documents through the ministry of education in Krakow, Poland. Is there a possibility I can do it from Nigeria? Or there has to be someone physically there.

I appreciate your motivation. I will be glad if you could share a little insight about these people who got their visa already; How many days did they have to wait from the date of their embassy appointment (or from the date of submitting additional documents) before they got the visa?

Good day everyone, thanks for your contributions. I am a Nigerian but based in Germany. My junior brother is processing his polish student visa but unlike German stvs, I find the polish process a lot more confusing with different information for the same question.
Some people say u can self-sponsor, some said no, some said only for Msc guys, some said it's the same checklist for both MSc and BSc so it should work.
Please, I Would like to ask;

Going for bachelors, can one use a self-sponsored CC? If yes, how much (Please only answers from guys who had done it before)
If no; What are the other options aside from payslips?

Thank you all as I look forward to direct and concrete answers.

Dankeschön

Good day eveyone.

I intend pursuing my doctorate degree in poland.
From the schools I've checked, certificates with Legalization is required.
Can I get that done at the ministry of Education in Ibadan as I'm currently based here?

Also, my MSc certificate isn't ready, only the SOR, will that be accepted?

Pls can somebody be of help...I have been calling the assigned ## for visa appointment for over 4 Thursday. All I heard is the number you have called is not reachable and later switched off. Please, anyone who has booked should tell us how and probably from which network. Many thanx.

NB : Please you called in around what time
Re: Polish Student Visa by Amanee(f): 8:52am On Oct 23, 2020
No, the ministry will still send the certificate to Abuja so it's better you go to Abuja yourself. To save time, funds and plenty stories.

SOR and transcript will be accepted

Your caveat (the part I bolded) is kind of bossy and may be demeaning on those still waiting for visa appointment date.

Here are your answers:
1. Yes you can use a self-sponsored CC (you may be questioned about your source of income at the embassy though)

2. The minimum required amount of financial resources is as follows: PLN 2,500 for the return trip + the cost of accommodation shown on the basis of hotel or rental agreement + PLN 701 for each month of stay (PLN 701 x 12 months = 8,412 PLN). Add those 3 costs together and you should have the minimum credit limit you should have on your CC.

This question has since been answered on this thread, So many questions are being asked repeatedly because the questioner find it stressful reading from page one, Take out time to read trust me it will be for your own good because we the respondent did same that’s the reason we are able to give answers to your questions meanwhile the Polish embassy doesn’t accept bank statement except you are applying for a tourist visa it’s either a credit card certificate or a payslip.

Please, are you sure about the credit card certificate? I just got Msc admission To Vistula University and I’m sufficiently funding my bank account to present at the embassy.
