Hi VINO,

Thank you for your response to my request, but I have been praying fervently for those we do not have a sponsor in their surname. What if that sponsor who doesn't bear same surname get his lawyer with letterhead and write the sponsorship letter signed and sealed, can that not be reasonable too? I don't know am only thinking the feasibility of that, because I can tell u, it is everybody that will be opportune to have a sponsor bearing same name. I quite understand the fact u shared what has really worked for u and I really do appreciate that because it has really given some insight.

Thank you.
VINOMENALXX:

Amen.
1. I really didn't provide any document as evidence of strong ties to my country. Infact all I provided that was mine are : Application form(for my school) , Conditional admission letter, Admission Confirmation letter, Medical certificate (legalized photocopy) , Medical insurance, Waec result (legalized photocopy), Testimonial (legalized photocopy) , Receipt of payment of school fees from the bank, Academic transcript(SS1 and SS2 3rd term results ), letter of introduction, CV, recommendation letter from sec school, Letter of introduction from church, return air ticket and Accommodation letter. (These are the personal documents I submitted all photocopies. DO NOT SUBMIT ORIGINALS cause any document submitted will not be returned ).

******
As an undergraduate and anybody using a sponsor don't need to show evidence of strong ties to Nigeria. That is your sponsor's job.
******
So, like I said earlier, I want you all to please pay attention to this part (The sponsor's part) cause this is the 99% reason why they always deny.
1. Your sponsor must be someone related to you. Father or Mother. (I don't really believe in uncle or aunty because they need to see ties that you are related through your birth certificate and Of course Surname)
2. Your sponsor must have at least 15M or More if he's self employed. Because what the consular wants to see is that they have enough money even after paying for your studies let's say 3M covers your study, there will be 12M left.Don't provide bank statement of 4 to 5M it's a no go area. Please take note. They don't take small amount again.
3. Don't just type any letter and provide it as a sponsor's letter. It must be letter headed with the sponsor's company name or where He/She works and must be signed and sealed by a lawyer(justice of peace). I'll show how a seal looks like
4. This is the most important one. Your sponsor must show CAC (certificate of registration of business with Nigeria) and also show Income tax clearance certificates (in my case, I showed Six years income tax certificates 2012-2017) these serves as ties to your country. You don't need to show land documents in your name or any other properties in your own name or sponsor's name.
5. Submit a colored copy of your sponsor's international passport or ID card. But international passport the best.

If you follow all these steps, with the Help of God I'm sure you'll get the visa.

Feel free to ask more questions..
I think I have helped a little !!

Bro, my bro is due for document submission on the 27th this month and he's also a first timer. Any info would help. Please lets chat or talk in person if you live in Abuja. I'll pick you up for some chats. I've dm you. Pls reply my email let's connect. I was stunned about the tip you gave about having 10m in sponsors bank account. My bro would use my dad's account and for now I don't know how much is in there but if I have clarification we can upgrade it to even maybe twice that amount before the said date.

I really don't know why people keep saying negative stuffs about POLAND. I just got my visa. A student visa and it was easy.
It was my first time and I got it with help from God cause I know it won't have been possible without him and also with solid and legit documents.
One of the tips I'll just like to drop is If your sponsor doesn't have above 10M in his/her account, it might be very difficult and you should also have documents backing up the business like the CAC, Income tax payment certificate(not just bank statement and sponsor's letter ) Kill them with complete and solid documents.
If you have questions, you can ask and Good luck to whoever is planning on going to Poland.
Believe in God and not the negative remarks on here.
GOD IS YOUR SOURCE

How is the sponsor related to you?
He/she is not family?
In that case, you have to get a letter from a lawyer signed and sealed testifying as a witness that the sponsor is truly the one sponsoring you and he is ready to shoulder the responsibilities throughout your stay in Poland (the sponsor should also say this in his letter)

Thanks VINO,

The sponsor is not family but he's my dad's friend. We work in the same organization and he's ready to be responsible for my living in Poland. Since am on tuition free study.

I will also like to reason this, since am on tuition free study, would 5M balance be reasonable enough while over 1M salary is credited to sponsor salary account monthly? It is only accommodation a d living expenses required for me.

Thank you.

How did you apply for appointment if it fill out national form or register national form. Also do you know anyone at Mfa that could help in legalization smooth processing. Thanks

National Visa register form.
Yeah I know a man but he charges Alot.
He'll do everything for you both MOE and MFA
But mind you, Eligibility letter takes 5-7 working days.

so I was at the ministry of foreign affairs yesterday and they said they are not attending to Poland applicants that they have issues with the embassy for about 3months now. When did you get your certificate legalized with the ministry of foreign affairs and how did you?
Did your school require you legalize your certificate with the embassy before resumption?
Thanks.

Yes I was asked to legalize it.
So I guess that is why the Embassy is yet to give me back my legalization results. It's been over 3 weeks and I'm still yet to get my documents back.
BUT I GOT THE VISA THO.

Brother thanks for the help you render here, please, i was not able to obtain an endorsement from MFA and MOE, I also forgot to include my birth certificate, but I submitted my baptismal card and I also legalize My Degree Certificate at the Polish Embassy in Abuja. I have all other documents submitted to the Embassy during my interview m, what do you think is my faith? Then is it possible for one to cross to Poland ( this is just my backup plan) with a Scheghen visa as I am on scholarship and my school is expecting and I cannot miss this opportunity. What else do you suggest I do brother...

I have a suggestion that might help regarding the legalisation of documents. When you visit the MOE and MFA don't tell them you are legalising it for the purpose of studying in Poland, choose maybe Czech Republic, same as your birth certificate. Schengen Countries agreement allows you from my experience to use a birth certificate already legalised at a different EU Embassy. Hope that helps.

I see no reason to lie at MFA because of your eligibility letter the address there is for Poland embassy so they will detect .... I have same problem I have authenticate my credentials since February but was in Abuja to authenticate only my testimonial and eligibility letter but I was told same story and my interview is in 2weeks time .

Obviously its either your intention is to argue with my suggestion or you really didn't get my point. I specifically said MOE and MFA for legalisation of educational documents. Eligibility Letter you mentioned from my experience of those who attended the visa interview was never requested. Since most polish universities can give an extension of time to present the Letter if explained to what the situation is.
Maybe you should make out time and offer possible solutions to those who need it rather than confront someone trying to help.

If you have other docs legalised by MOE and MFA and tuition fee is already paid. Then you should give the visa submit your application. Also if you can convince the VO why you starting after the universities officially starts this week.

That's good bro, I believe you were well prepared and well documented. Where in Poland are you going and what course. You made mention of applying as a minor, does that mean you are below 18? Hope you don't mind me asking. The last time I was there Warsaw was a very nice city and quite safe. If you will be living in Warsaw I can recommend you a nice hostel were a friend of mine lived with lots of local and foreign students. There is a dangerous part of Warsaw that should be avoided and that is Praga. Don't worry you will have lots of fun and girls in Poland. African Restaurant and African shop is also in Warsaw. Best Regards.
Kindly recommend a good hostel for me in warsaw thanks

Hello everyone,
Please does anyone know what is going on with the Polish embassy? I applied for a visa last month and my collection date was October 9th. Went on the 9th and they asked me to come back on the 16th without giving any reasons. Went back on the 16th, which was yesterday and there were about 30 people waiting. We were informed that there was a backlog and they are dealing with September collection first. Waited until 4pm and I had to leave. Went back by 1pm today and the same thing-many people waiting outside and as at the time I left, they had not attended to anyone. Again, no explanation given whatsoever! It's really unfair of them to treat us like this and expect us to keep checking back everyday. Just wondering if anybody here has an idea of what's going on.
Thanks.

Don't panic, you are experiencing this because of the system error that happened some weeks ago and truly the yesterday collection was for September applicant only and luckily all the scholarship student were given visa other were denied. Note collection is only Tuesday and Thursday and collection starts by 2pm. so please go tomorrow.

Thanks for your reply, Samac. I'm not applying for a student visa mine is a family tourist visa. My husband (who's a citizen) called them today and I also went there. So they said they will call me when it's ready. People are really losing patience, they were shouting at the security men and even demanding for their passports without visas. It's so unfair and inconsiderate of them. They should at least communicate with applicants via phone or email. Some people came from outside Abuja and some even from outside Nigeria. They have been coming everyday, spending money on transport and hotel bills. They need to treat people better or be reported to our ministry of foreign affairs. You need to see how hot the weather is in Abuja, and some have to even come with their babies. Completely unacceptable!

That's the situation we find ourselves in this country. for the ministry of foreign affairs you mentioned they are tired of the embassy self because I have inner person there and let me understand that the embassy is dictating for them that's why they stop authenticating for Poland student. me can't be wasting my precious time in Abuja. am already in Lagos I go back when they start attending to people.
