PDP lacks capacity to be in the
opposition, says APC
By Adamu Abuh, Abuja

For the All Progressives Congress (APC), the
recent outcry by the Peoples Democratic Party
( PDP) was indicative of the fact that it may not
be able to cope outside power.
In a statement issued in Abuja by its National
Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the
APC said the PDP is now scared of being in
opposition since it suffered heavy defeat in the
just concluded general elections.
It noted: ‘’We don’t blame them as they have
neither the capacity nor the commitment to be in
opposition. A party that stood for nothing but
looting and rent collection will naturally be afraid
of being in opposition, where there is nothing to
loot or rent to collect.
‘’This is why we wish to extend to the National
Working Committee of the PDP a free orientation,
just as we have offered the party’s spokesman a
free crash course in how to be an opposition
party spokesman.
Condemning the PDP for complaining of
harassment and intimidation, the APC noted that
if any party is guilty of harassment, intimidation
and impunity before, during and after the 2015
general elections, it is the PDP.
‘’Have they so soon forgotten the reckless show
of shame by their Odua Peoples Congress lackeys
with the full support of the Nigeria Police Force in
Lagos or the mindless bombings and killings of
APC members in Rivers and Gombe states,
among others? Only on Monday, APC supporters
were again reportedly killed in Rivers and Kaduna
states.

They have lost relevance and it will be tough for them as most of their members are now in the APC. All their antics are known.

Now that they can no longer loot NNPC and co, maybe they can sell Wadata House to run campaign. The stolen mandates from the oil-rich Rivers and Akwa Ibom states will surely be vested rightfully to APC by the tribunals. It is only a matter of time. If we pity them, they can keep Delta but we never decide sha

I cant wait for pdp to go into extinction. We need another opposition party, not the one in the name of pdp. They have 'comitted' so many atrocities against Nigeria/Nigerians that when you have them as the opposition party they wont be taken seriously by Nigerians because they are seen as the architect of our modern problems.

Even as a ruling party, PDP lacked it, how more capacity can they have being an opposition. Anyways, they will get use to the game in the next 12yrs.
