AIM. To teach us that GOD is bigger than all adversity
From these text we read today. Job 1. Romans 8:35. Deuteronomy 8:3-5. 1 kings 17:1; 18:1-2 and 2 kings 6:1-5.

The following are clear;

Adversity is real.
It befell both the righteous and the sinner.
It may be to prove the genueity of ones love towards God.
It may be to punish one for their rebellion against the word of God or Indifference to the word of God.
It may also be to separate one from the love of Christ.

But the good news we learn t from the following bible texts are.

Adversity will not last for ever.
That God can turn captivity.
With Christ, adversity can not conquer us. Romans 8:37
And if I will add. The antidote for devil, his cohorts and their works is the fire of God mark 5:1-20

People without religion also face adversities and still get out from one without the help of "big daddy". So what's you point?

Yea just like 1 can choose to go either to a herbal home or hospital for cure, in respect of health challenge.
