Facebook has just released the video calling in Messenger. This means that you can now have face-to-face conversations with your family and friends via facebook Messenger.

You can conviniently start a video call from any conversation with just a tap. If you’re chatting with someone and realize that words just aren’t enough, all you do is to simply choose the video icon in the top right corner of the massnager screen and start a video call right away.

Before now, messenger already offers people the opportunity to make voice calls to friends and loved ones all over the world. Video calling will boost Messenger’s real-time communication features, enabling over 600 million people who use facebook Messenger every month to reach others at any point in time. It’s reliable, fast and high quality.

Video calling in facebook Messenger is available for messenger calls made from a mobile phone to another mobile phone, even if one person is on another platform e.g iOS and the other person is on Android device.

Massanger video calling is the latest feature released for Messenger, following the release of "send money to friends" feature, the introduction of Messenger Platform and the launch of Businesses on Messenger (coming soon).
Video calling in Messenger was launched on 27th April, 2015 for people on Android and iOS in Belgium, Canada,France, Croatia, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Oman, the UK, the US and Uruguay. Facebook will be rolling out this feature to other regions and locales over the coming months.
