doctokwus: Good point you've made but I still didn't see how SE could have recorded ridiculous figures for GEJ as 2011 given that the number of PVC collected had given us an indication of the number of votes to expect. Looking at it critically, GMB's performance didn't really improve over 2011's as he barely got 10% across the board. What PDP could do was to allocate non-existing figures to GEJ because of the PVC/card reader. I actually predicted just about 15% across the board for GMB in SE though I thought he could get 25% in Imo. Please check my prediction here if you missed it https://www.nairaland.com/2217602/2015-presidential-election-final-prediction Please understand that I don't mean to rubbish or diminish the effort of those GMB's allies in SE/SS region. It's just that the election result did not reflect their toiling. 2 Likes |

NgeneUkwenu: I have long known that the result declared did not reflect the effort and I do not mean to rubbish or diminish you guy's effort. It's just unfortunate that we're analyzing figures here. How else could I recognize the efforts of you guys than by supporting and clamoring for GMB to ensure an all-inclusive regime irrespective of where he won or failed to win. After all, he has to prove those who didn't support him wrong this time around. 2 Likes |

PassingShot:Perhaps you are not looking at d right pvc figures! Google pvc collection in d southeast and none had less than 1million pvc collected except Ebonyi!!Meanwhile average % voter turnout at the elections in d se was about 37%!!! If APC men in d east and outside had not galvanised themselves to form a formidable force, this is the scenario that would have played out that day: as soon as d card readers were deliberately made and said to have failed and manual accreditation allowed, there would have been writing of votes in d various govt and personal homes of PDP stalwarts using the military, police, sss and a lot of compromised and intimidated INEC officials and the kind of 90% turnout and 99% votes for GEJ would have been coming out, giving you the kind of 1.4-1.6m votes we saw in rivers state for the PDP. APC would have cried blue murder,GMB would have cried his eyes out again and headed to the courts. Of course with PDP and GEJ in celebratory and drunken mood, transferring N1b to the account of each of the electoral panel judges would have been chicken change to a man who spent N2trillion to bribe during the campaigns. By now you and I my friend would have started witnessing the bankcupting of our resources and militancy/brigandage never ever witnessed in this nation by the types of GEJ, mama peace, orubebe, wike etc. We cannot over emphasize what God did for us by allowing all the factors, individuals and forces that came together under His guidance to deliver GMB's victory; least of all that of the southeasterners that stood by GMB,despite d great campaign of calumny against him in the region. 5 Likes |

A lot still lies ahead my friend. After may 29 we would all be taking sleeping pills as earthshaking revelations and unimagined things the fisherman took this nation through, keep coming to our screens and prints everyday. ahaz: Does Rotimi make him a Yoruba man? These people have warned you guys to stop imposing your Igboness on them. Being your neighbour with similarities in culture does not make any Ikwerre man an Igbo. Disrespectfully enough, Ikwerres changed everything that sounds like Igbo names in Portharcourt and environ to something else so as to ensure their identity is well protected but you continue in usual manner to disrespect them by forcing yourselves on these people. I was watching a comedy show with Julius Agu on the stage, I have always believed he was an Igbo man until he started yabbing Igbos as his neighbour. I was surprised and shocked when he referred to Igbos as his neighbour in the video. He later said he is from Portharcourt in the video........ 3 Likes |
