Windows Vista Ready Boost is a utility that came with vista that allows you to speed up your vista by using a flash drive as an external memory.
I learn about this when it first came out, but i tried using different flash drives with my vista installation, but none of them worked, i gave up on this.
Please anyone who uses this resource should please enlighten us about it.

it works. however, it will not work with all flash drives. buy a genuine LG flash drive or better still, an SD card _ assuming your system has an SD card slot.

also, ensure that the readyboost service is running. maximum size of readyboost cache is 4gb.

i read in an edition of pc world that it really isnt worth it. . . so i'm not even going to bother trying it out!

Thanks, i will try see if i can borrow an original lg flash from someone, if the output makes sense, then i will consider buying one.
