Ramires was named in the starting line-up, but complained of feeling ill before kick-off and was replaced by Juan Cuadrado. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was so concerned about Ramires that he broke off from the club’s Premier League title celebrationsto visit him in hospital. It is understood Ramires is expected to stay in hospital to undergo tests and attempt to find out the exact nature of the kidney problem that left Chelsea medics worried. Mourinho said: “He went to the hospital. He was feeling so bad we had to take him out of the dressing room. I am going to visit him now.
