Wislet: There's PORT harcourt, there was a port in Calabar before there was one in Lagos... People leave Lagos everyday and nothing changes.. Fashola helped in making Lagos what it is today... |

Ilekeh:Good morning, dear! It's because they are travellers more than the yorubas and they love diversity when it comes to surviving and livelihood... Many people don't know the value of what they have so need the help of others to free the cloak on its importance... Did I hear you say forsake? That's the part you don't know the right word to use, how can some one who trace an opportunity to another land still harness the opportunity in the land and send the resources to his place for betterment of his life and people, still call from his place little and helpless others to teach then the way to providence in the foreign state which they re-invest in their places 'forsake' his land? They are not foolish dear, they are wise... Just take such mindset off and understand the intricate part of the igbos then you will better yourself, though every ethnic group has an intricate part that'll wow others. Thanks. 4 Likes 1 Share |

GodMode:You don't get it and probably never will. Take your Lagos pride and eat it if that'll make you grow taller. Lagos, Lagos, Lagos chants all the time. May Lagos not fall one day. It'll really be a nightmare for some people. |

You can still quote me or correct me without hate,we have never seen each other before and as such we should trade with caution. Well i will take it because you're my brother,God bless you. Ilekeh: Get your facts straight. Igbos don't troop to Yorubaland, they troop to Lagos. Which other sw state is worth doing business in apart from Lagos, the previous capital of Nigeria, built with the collective resources of every Nigerian? Is it Ibadan, with no single impressive house except shanties with brown rusted roofs? Is it ondo, Osun, Ekiti that are mostly rural areas? Please get your facts straight and stop feeling proud cos of Lagos which would not have attained it's present status if not for the fact that it was once a Federal capital territory. 8 Likes |

GodMode: Port Harcourt is like Warri, it's actually more inland than anything hence it's shallow, same for Calabar which is very narrow and shallow. The only viable port in the east would be in Akwa Ibom where there is a solid coastline, unlike the mangroves and shallow waters of Bayelsa, Rivers and Cross River. Look at a topological map. |

GodMode: And who is going to pay for that? It's not an excuse, it's logical to build a sea port at Ibaka. That's the solution. |
Re: Yoruba Man Recounts His Visit To Igboland by GodMode: 9:04am On May 05, 2015 |
ezeagu: The govt will pay for it.. If Ibaka is a good place to build one then let them build another one at Ibaka... 2 is always better than one... |

Ilekeh:Since you can't afford to lose them now why asking them to go? Believe me you've not been to Igboland. We have oil in the five Igbo states, but they've not been exploited, so... We are on advantage. A nation is made great by her human resources and management. |
Re: Yoruba Man Recounts His Visit To Igboland by GodMode: 9:11am On May 05, 2015 |
prelinctus: I'm from SW... Igbos wonder why Yoruba don't travel to other parts.. Its because the Yoruba are SW... The Yoruba will rather travel to Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Kwara, ibadan e.t.c to build... They don't build outside the SW except its in another country that's better than SW.... |
