I remember the late 80s and early 90s when this part of the world was still more or less pure, when this part of the world embraced it’s innocence with reckless abandon. Love was blind, a lady was more beautiful in character than appearance. We had the ladies who would see a guy with nothing, agree to marry him, build with him and stand by him. That was the good days of old.

Those days are nothing but memories in the annals of the minds of a few aging population. Right now love isn’t blind, love got eyes with a pair of binoculars. Beauty has been redefined, reconstructed on the foundation of superficial determination. A misapprehension of illusion that has eaten deep into the hearts of ladies in our contemporaries. What we have now is an accelerated facade representation of beauty at the expense of beauty of dispositions.

The cravings for this misconceived beauty has reprogramed the mindset of many ladies. Enabling them redefining the once customary standards that guided our mothers on the right track of preservation. Leaving them to scamper in an impetuous pursuit of misguided priorities and feeble principles.

These are days where ladies spend unprecedented amount of time, effort, and resources looking good on the outside and little or no time acting good from the inside. These are times where some younger ladies would prefer spending her last cash going to a mall just to take a selfie and post on social media than buy books that can build their moral values. These are vain times and a deplorable juncture of misconception.

Negligence of character beautification is consequential, it comes with a heavy price to the society. Many violence in relationships and marriages can be traced to it. From a reliable source over 60% of violence are caused by precipitated provocations by ladies.

A woman’s true beauty is complete when in looks and in deeds she’s outstanding. If ladies can show the same aspiration in developing their personalities and understanding the temperaments of others, they will become exceptionally beautiful. It is advisable for ladies to spend more time reading books that can enhance their character positively and that can promote their relationships with others. We can be better if only we decide. Lets be better one love….

Blame it on the guys.......... As a lady, you're only perceived as 'endowed' by most guys if you wield a cute face, coupled with a nice 'front and back'.

Just a few guys care about character and intellect these days.

Well, growing, naive and in some cases shallow minded guys get carried away by those features. Real men know that the true value of a lady is within...... No amount of butt or burst can give u peace of mind.

A guys vague perception should not be a yardstick to a ladies personality disposition

It sure has a lot to do with this. In addition, procreation has become the sole aim of marriage in this generation. Now why would one remain married when that aim has been achieved, or if having children out of wedlock is just a normal way of life in the society?
