I always loved seeing how much a popular female celebrity always spent hours with her guy on how to improve his work and was by his side at his events even in the worst weather in Lagos. She stood by him and he also stood by her and today both of them are successful in their chosen passions and professions, because they appreciated each other.

She never even bothers to ask you how your project is going. But she is quick to remind you about the money for shopping and the expensive iPhone she wants for her birthday.
Why waste your money on such a girlfriend when donating it to an orphanage or a charity for widows will be more beneficial to you than her moaning in fake orgasm to scam you?

It matters a lot for your girlfriend to have the intellectual capacity to appreciate and support you in your career and add value to your life.
Any girlfriend who does not appreciate your work and does not add value to it is not worth your time and money.
Don't waste your time and money on such a girlfriend.

Staying online 24/7 like you put it doesn't mean people are not engage in one activities or the other. I don't even know what you understand by the term career but I do hope you know someone who's a student is a career-driven person and most students can afford the liberty to be online most of the time.
