He Wants To Know: Why Do Igbos Turn Down Marriage With Calabars? by Eberex(m): 9:17pm On May 06, 2015 |
It certainly didn't start now, but a very long time ago the Igbos have never hidden their innate dislike for Calabar or Akwa Ibom indigene when it comes to tying the knot. i am presently in this situation, dating a girl from Akwa Ibom. At the disclosure of who my fiancee was, my parents flared up. No matter how i tried to explain my love for her, they said it is a ''no go area''!!! They said people from these states practice or are known for witchcraft. I want to ask how true this belief is. What happens to one Nigeria? If you are in my shoes what would you do? |

Do they? That's news to me That it happened to u does not mean dat DAT is how it is. I have relations n friends married to calabarians and uyo peeps. My best friend is from eket (akwaibom) and many others If u really love her, try harder to convince ur parents ..pray they change their mind. Dat ur parents Knw some calabar peeps who practice witchcraft does not mean that all calabar peeps do same . again witchcraft is being practiced in every village, state, country |
