Christianity nowadays have been modernized to fit the taste of the world, many rubbishes (allow me to use this word) are allowed in some churches, most Christians don't read, study and memorize (bible verses) the bible, they just have it for having sake, they are only interested in reading novels and magazines and watching TV series and movies, to pray is like a herculean task and a burden, some only pray kwashiorkor lazy prayer that does not reach the ceiling fan, to some sinning is not a sin and all this to the delight of the devil.
 
People now annoyingly chew gum in church without respect, some women proudly wear ultra-miniskirts and tight mini skirt, tight jeans and revealing clothes that expose all the contour, including the front and back, as if they are going for night party in a club, thus when dancing to praise songs, they are unintentionally or intentionally throwing some men into wild satanic imaginations and puts the pastor in lust trouble. Women competiting with other women for the best worn attire, boys sagging and forming big boy and dressing like criminals(what a shame), pinging and browsing while service is going on. Churches selling ice cream, bons and other delicacies as side attractions, thus making some people come to church mainly to chop puff puff. Some men, opening churches for business and money making purpose thus misleading and confusing the members and choping their money.
 
Nowadays people can hardly differentiate people who are Christians and those who are not, whether by dressing, conduct, speech, etc Colossians 3:8 "But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth". Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear".
Look at the Muslims, their women dare not wear miniskirts to mosque, in fact it is impossible to see a Muslim woman going to the mosque with tight mini-skirt and revealing cloth and without covering their hair, because they will be chased out, in some Muslim countries, you would be stoned to death. They don’t take nonsense or allow the world to modernize their religion. 1 Timothy 2:9 vs 10 “Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works”. We are in a period where most Christians are okay with being ordinary, powerless, being of the world and lazy towards the things of God.
 
We Christians must be able to stand out among the crowd and be different. I find it worrisome that in most cases it is only pastors or prophets and ministers that have the power to perform miracles. What of the congregation? The ushers, instrumentalist, choir etc. Are we supposed to be ordinary and just come to church to be waiting for pastor or ministers to lay hands on our heads, when there is free access to communicate through prayer with God and get feedback anywhere we are? Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Mark 11:24 - Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].
 
We Christian must be identified with power, just like the children of darkness who have satanic powers to cause havoc; we must have Godly powers to cause them havoc, heal all type of sickness, and raise the dead etc “Luke 10 vs 19 says "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you". Mark 16:17 says, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues".
 
The only way to get this power is to surrender your life to Christ, be born again, say goodbye to sin (though if by mistake you sin, you should report yourself to God and quickly ask for forgiveness), stop going to worldly churches that are deceiving and does not make u grow spiritually, leave bad friends, stop following the trends of the world, 1 John 2:15 "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them" and obey his commandment.
