As President Goodluck Jonathan stated recently at a farewell occasion, he is getting ready for a probe from the incoming government, though he sees it as "persecution". Whether the incoming government of Buhari decides or not to probe his wasteful and highly corrupt government, especially in the oil sector, is a subject of interest to Nigerians.

The lesson to learn out of all this for the outgoing president is, when people trust you with leadership, do not let them down, those cabals and sycophants that helped you ruin your government did not vote you into office, Nigerians did, and the welfare of Nigerians should have been your number one priority. This is the Hard Truth that your fans and close associates will not tell you.
