The world's most successful didn't do it alone

I disagree sir with you on this, how much of American, British, German lands are owned by foreign nationals?
Lets go to pseudo 3rd world nations how much of Brazilian, Indian, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malaysian lands are ceded to foreigners because they have no idea what to do with the wasting assets?
How much will it cost us to develop capabilities necessary to multiply knowledge for increased agricultural outputs?
How many acreage of Arabian oil assets are owned by Africans?
Why should we be longing for Arabian oil money to be invested in Agriculture when we mismanage the one we get from same oil?
Not everything we own should be saleable just because there is a huge demand for it.
The Arabs became wealthy when they realized the importance of their oil to world economy and decided to make it sought after and valuable.
What is wrong with the approach to control our land, train our farmers increase output and control food sale to the Arab lands, why should we hand over our lands to their control for money that will soon finish.
Why should we share our potential wealth with them now that our land is about to become valuable when they have not shared their own wealth with us?

I realise land sales is your business and you stand to make a killing with influx of foreign land grabbers, but i plead you see these from the angle am seeing it. I prefer you and any other national owns 1000's of acres and farm it than some indian, Arab or soever owning farms in my native Ogbomoso. There is nothing the Indian will do with the land that you don't have the capacity to also do if you try. More of the wealth you derive from that land will remain to the benefit of Nigerians including my friends and family. If they want to invest, finance industry and manufacturing is still open.

I agree with you but. However, the quoted is not in support of foreigners buying African land.

If you want to succeed in the world must make your own opportunities as you go on. The man who waits for some seventh wave to toss him on dry land will find that the seventh wave is a long time a coming. You can commit no greater folly than to sit by the roadside until someone comes along and invites you to ride with him to wealth or influence.
