I don't know if this is frequent in other parts of Nigeria, but where i grew up I had at least once heard of Monday, Tuesday and company until Sunday. Do Parents lack fantasy or have these names got a significant meaning? |

The commonest are Friday, Sunday and Monday. and I think all southerners are guilty of those silly names. Igbos even have NwanyiSunday for girls meaning (Sunday woman) I hate those names. Rivers state people bearĀ Tuesday, Wednesday, January (Jenuwari) June, April and May for girls is kinda ok. |
