whoever you are I love your view about life....going to US to study is not a do or die affair, just give your best and pray to God to favour you...but life does not depend on your visa,it's always good to have a plan B incase there are disappointments. Going to the US does not determine if you will succeed or not.

Thanks for the contribution. My point exactly! I am sure a few people understands this. Always have a plan B. I wasn't successful abroad , I made my bread right here! I already have an MSc. I am going for the second.

P.S.: Personally, judging from facial expression and tone of voice, the guy that interviewed me and the lady to his right were the easiest to talk to among all of them. The smile on his face and his friendly tone of voice did a lot to calm my nerves at the beginning. Well, I guess that is also the G-factor at work.

Congrats bro. I tap into this by God's grace.

Oh. Well, come to think of it, I haven't had the need to. But it's no biggie, really. I'd be attending Tennessee Tech, since Michigan Tech aren't forthcoming with their funding. Program is Electrical & Computer Engineering

And, oh, congratulations on your award. smiley

Hello OP where you given full funding at Tennessee tech.

My point is this.
Lets not make categorical statements unless one is extremely sure of it
Undergrads may find it hard to get full funding because they cannot assist the department as teaching or research assistants but you never know really. That alone is a huge deterring factor.

HOWEVER,
t is VERY possible to get full ride from Ivy league schools as undergrads for gifted international students. Many other honors college recipients in Universities across the US offer this to the best of the best.
These awards are for the brightest and not mediocre students or above average students especially at Undergraduate level so it's VERY dificult to acquire them except one is extremely gifted.
Doesn't mean they don't exist

It's paramount not to give someone false hope. Ask about his profile first starting from WAEC Result before trying to bulldoze me. I thought about Partial Scholarship because I know his chances of getting it first is high if he can do well in SAT.

It was all GOD!!!!!! GOD !!!!!!GOD.!!!! Plenty of prayer and fasting went down. Couldn't sleep last night.
No document was requested.

Thanks guys. All my rehearsed questions were asked and I had my answers at my finger tip with loads of confidence.

Judging both interviews. I obviously did better in this. Was more confident.

Thank God for the testimony. Congrats.

very correct...US embassy cannot issue visas at random because they were experiencing technical problems...the applicants who got their visas was By god's grace and they were fully deserving.
