Back in 2013, the Gionee Mobile Industry released its Elife E7 that hit the market tremendously and many would say it is time for the Industry to replace its long overdue phablet. The next-generation model named Gionee Elife E8 was announced at the MWC earlier this year. It is now obviously ready as expected in the coming weeks by many Gionee fans all over the world, as evidenced by a listing on Chinese regulator TENAA’s website. Here are the leaked specifications and first images of the Gionee Elife E8!

The Gionee Elife E8 has a curvy ergonomic design for the most comfortable feel in your hands. Fits perfectly in the grip of your hands. It is fairly light weight and the camera is terrific, with an impressive power saving battery life that lasts you all day.

Just as expected, the new phablet comes with a number of high-end features which is considered an upgrade over its predecessor. The new phablet is packed with a massive 6-inch display compared to the 5.5 inches of the Elife E7. The device is a slim and lighter body weight phablet, its body measures a dimensions of 164.0×82.3×9.6(mm) and weighs 207g. There is also a bump in screen resolution from 1920 x 1080 pixels to Quad HD 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution compared to the Full HD (1080p) resolution of its predecessor. According to the listing, it’s an AMOLED panel, too.

TENAA also reveal that the Gionee Elife E8 will have a mysterious 2.0Ghz Snapdragon processor which allows you to run multiple apps with ease, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory and can be expanded via microSD up to 128GB and gives support for GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA network capability mode and powered with a large 3520mAh battery capacity.
