3 soldiers and 6 nearby vigilante contributors died for the period of the Boko Haram assault in Maiduguri yesterday May 13th.

A senior official of the state Vigilante crew who spoke Daily Trust on condition of anonymity mentioned the six vigilante workforce individuals who died have been killed even as seeking to support 3 ladies who ran to them for aid when the assaults began.
Unknown to them, the females were suicide bombers who had bombs strapped below their garments which later exploded, killing 6 and injuring 12 others.
“The six vigilantes have been killed through female suicide bombers who pretended to be in distress while the combat used to be ongoing between troops and the terrorists.
The three females were all suicide bombers in view that they strapped their bodies with explosives and pretended that they had been trapped in the ensuing confusion.
And out of sympathy, our contributors approached them in an effort to taking them to security however unfortunately, they (females) detonated their explosives,” he mentioned.
A military officer also said that three soldiers died for the period of the assault even as many individuals of the insurgency staff lost their lives.
