noor009:It is impossible to replace the home button assembly and preserve Touch ID function. The sensor is designed to be secure and it is uniquely paired with each CPU. You can't extract the key from the sensor or the CPU because they are designed to take the key to their graves. So if the device is under warranty, leave it to Apple, if the sensor is replaced by you or damaged you will lose Touch ID forever. |

noor009:Bros,there is no certified Apple repair centre or sale shop in Northern Nigerian. There is 1 in lagos and I don't know if they handle repairs. Only Apple and I repeat only Apple can fix your Touch ID sensor because each iphone is specially designed to work with a touch ID till d grave. D touch ID is attached to d home button and touch id will cease to work if it is replaced |
