Mohammed Morsi And 100 Others Sentenced To Death In Egypt.

Mohammed Morsi, the former president of Egypt, has been
sentenced to death today along with 100 other people over a
mass prison break in 2011. Morsi is already serving a 20 year
prison sentence for the unlawful arrest and torture of protesters while he was in power.
In July 2013, amidst intense protesting in Tahrir Square, the
Egyptian military removed Morsi
in a coup d’état. Since his arrest the governing authorities have banned the Muslim Brotherhood
and arrested thousands of Morsi’s supporters. Morsi also faces separate trials
over leaking sensitive
information, fraud, and insulting the judiciary.

When I read stories like this, the question that comes to my mind is when will Nigerian leaders be made to answer for their deeds while holding various political offices they occupied..?
Until this happens in our own political clime, Nigeria may be in for a real tough time ahead.
