Nigeria ecommerce sector could witness another huge boom as Nigeria’s largest local search engine, VConnect plans full transformation to ecommerce.

The company which started operation in Nigeria in 2010 has the largest collection of business information in its directory with over 700 000 businesses listed.

Earlier in March, the company announced the change in its logo changing the popular ‘Nigeria Largest Local Search Engine’ tagline to FIND. BUY. SELL. This also follows rebranding to a new orange logo in the process. This change now reflects on the entire page of the website.

I don't think this will make Konga to be in trouble. Competition is the game of business. The market is huge enough to accommodate new entrants.
