Ribadu abandons motion in court

Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on Wednesday abandoned his motion in a suit filed against him and others at the Federal High Court, Abuja.


The suit, with number FHC/ABJ/CS/6/2009, was filed by Mr. Ogboli Charles and others against Ribadu, the Inspector General of Police and the EFCC.


The suit was filed in March 2008 with originating summons for mandamus compelling the Inspector General of Police to probe

Ribadu over allegations of corruption and property acquisition. Justice Anuli Chikere adjourned the case till March 9.

Is this guy sane at all,hes got so much guts.

it is simple, he's a common thief and a bush-boy. he thinks nigeria belongs to his father. the best thing this administration could do at this point is to send a positive message to the kids, the future by making sure that ribadu is properly punished for fooling nigerians and for constantly disrespecting the rules and regulations.
his plans is to continue to dodge the law till a new administration takes over. but i have a news for mr ribadu, the next 4 administrations in nigeria are ready for you. you can hide, whine and cry, you're not going to escape being punished like the rest. you have only one head, you're not special and you're certainly not bigger than nigeria. sooner or later you will be captured, you will be made to cough up all you've stolen from nigeria and you will be punished for every single kobo you stole from us.

the major problem here is not ribadu but obj.
obj a former military and civilian president/oil minister has refused to leave the scene.
he has clinched the political wings of nigeria and he has boldly refused to quit.
the failure of third term agenda gave birth to a new form of indirect rule and his divide and rule system which failed in the east has remained in play in south and north with its head quaters in abuja and ota farm.
the difficulties in handling ribadu lies in the fact that the present administration is a product of obj hence a touch on ribadu will lead nigeria and nigerians to the secret places of obj.
unfortunately, yar adua is not strong enough to be a man of his own otherwise, obj and his folks(annenih, bode george, late adedibu, chris and andy uba, borrishade, fani kayode etc) would have been facing the toughest time of their lives at this point.
the first indication of ribadu/obj manipulation was shown in his probe of the abachas while everyother past president had a free run.
those named criminals by obj/ribadu are far more better than the saints of that ungodly era.
the election triburnals in most states overturned most of the selected candidates of obj and most of his actions were overturned by yar adua.
the name obj means nothing but corruption.
i am of the belief that the delay system of ribadu is the game plan of this administration to continue keeping obj safe. if by any chance or as a result of the cries and prayers of the dying masses, yar adua decides to face the real situation over ribadu, nigerians will hear stories of their lives on the so called best president of nigeria - obj.
