Tot I was d only one suffering this. I usually make call few minutes before 5am at 0.04k but now, it's 12k. MTN bring back our zone.

if u r using ur MTN to browse and u r on 3G or H+ u r bound to be calling at 40k. for u to go back to normal tariff u av to put ur line in anoda fone (non browsing fone preferably) call on it and u will c d call rate will be normal. u can now return ur line back to ur fone but u must not on d 3G d moment ur on 3G on dat very MTN then d call tariff will stuck at 40k. to cut d long story short, if u r using ur MTN zone for browsing then u need to switch to anoda plan. am using glo 1k for 3G but i discovered dis when i tweak IMEI to get giggs from MTN. whenever i on my 3G my call tariff will remain at 40k but when i put d sim in my nokia X1, it works fine. i hope this help.

Pls who has a solution to thiS MTN Zone rip off ?
Anytime i call a number,irrespective of location,the calls never go below 12k/s

yeah... i think it has been stucked at 12k cos dats d rate av bn calling for days nw... i sha knw one day one day, we go call at more lesser rate as d competition continues

This problem keep on occurring from time to time, and it seems MTN is stylishly closing that plan..Because I see no reason why MTN zone will be static at 12jk/sec even at mid night. secondly una hand dey crash sote Many bloggers dey advertise say u fit use MTN zone call another network with different codes. Do you think MTN are happy about that even though 60% calls are routed to their network. Haven't wonder why Glo and Airtel tariffs to off net is a bit high while on net cheap inspite of ncc order on Glo and MTN to charge flat rates? Glo and Airtel decided to make off net expensive so as to make more profit since calls are routed to MTN numbers most times. MTN on the other had being smiling but since they discovered that off net calls where 4k/sec or even free, they had to stop it immediately especially when people became aware of it. for example using * at the end of the 11 digit makes me to call Glo line as at then @ 4k/sec or N2/min whereas inter connect rate stood at about N3.90.. The question is if you were MTN will you continue to allow this?

am sorry bro, i dont make call after 10pm unless my loved ones are yet to return from work/outing. so i actually dont give a damn about night call... but i think all MTN package make night call in as much u av a minimum of N100...
