Like many Nigerians travelling abroad, to find a decent job initially is a battle. Considering the culture shock (for first timers) it is a battle to even understand the accent. Tell us your experiences! What was your first job abroad?

As i have come to see, no matter your level of qualification and experience when you leave Nigeria, getting a job with a decent wage could be a struggle.

As for me the first job i got in the UK was in a chicken factory! It was an open place in the cold. Ah! it was horrible. I did it for 2 days and i said i'd rather go back to my country where i was a telecoms engineer earning a decent wage than this suffering. Hence the inspirational name, Kamari!
