Ending a bad relationship can create new opportunities, free you from a source of stress and tension in your life and also allow you to move on to greener pastures.

Follow these simple steps to learn how to break up easily and kindly.

1. Think over what you want and why you want it.
Take time to weigh your feelings and the reasons for your decision.

2. Before you decide to have "the talk," you need to let your partner know what's bothering you and give them the opportunity to make changes for the better. If you eventually decide to end the relationship, it wont be too sharp because you've already voiced your frustration, and you'll have given your partner the opportunity to change for the better.

WARNING: Skip this step and move straight to breaking up, If your partner has cheated on you or physically abused you.

3. Give your partner a specific time to change.
If you want your partner to stop hanging out with friends instead of spending time with you, set a limit on it. If your partner does it again in a week or two, you can break up.

4. Think about what you will say. You need to decide when, where, and how long the conversation will take place.
Remember to give the conversation a time limit, because the conversation can last a lot longer than it should, especially if your partner is surprised or shocked by your decision and tries to keep you talking, hoping to change your mind.

5. Choose a suitable location to have the talk. A breakup conversation should be done in private to avoid embarrassing shows of emotion in front of others. Pick a place you'll be able to leave easily, like your partner's place, instead of your own. That way, you can be the one to decide when to leave. If your partner is the violent type, then you need to break
up in public or bring back-up.

6. Don't blame yourself.
Always bear in mind that breakups are normal. Sometimes you'll be the one to dump someone and sometimes you might be the dumped, but we all experience heartbreak. It hurts, but we all survive it, and you and your ex will too. So, don't blame
yourself.
Here are few things you should do after the Break Up:

1. Make yourself scarce,

2. Confide in someone you trust.
You can talk to your friends, parents, older siblings or cousins who've been through tough relationships before. It helps to communicate your feelings rather than bottle them up and risk making poor decisions or becoming depressed.

3. Hang out with your friends or travel out. Meet people and make connections. Have fun and forget about your Ex for a while.

4. Start dating new people only when you're ready. Don't rush into another relationship.. Give yourself sometime to heal. And when you're fit for another relationship make sure you're very careful while choosing your partner.
