This morning as I type this, it is completely dark where I live. I am seriously considering trekking to the Church this am, and then trekking to work...but then again, it may not come to that. The sad thing about Nigeria is that for some reason Nigerians do not know who their true enemies are. I think that there is something wrong with the Nigerian psyche which seems to blame other people, even the West for their problems. The truth is that we Nigerians are to blame for our problems. We are the ones who caused our own issues. We sit down and refuse to challenge our leaders to do better. We only expect them to feed us with crumbs every morning...with a little bit of milk. If Nigeria is to get rid of its problems....united or separate....then we must, I repeat we must decide not to tolerate any wrong doing. We must stop blaming others...and blame ourselves. That is all I have to say. 3 Likes |

youngalex: Is Jonathan truly as clueless as they say that he wants to go out with Nigerians remembering him for leaving the nation in a crippling fuel scarcity? What smarts do people have for blaming that on the incoming government? It is sad if we cannot hold our government accountable. 1 Like 1 Share |

Please stop criticising the op about what he said, I was expecting opinions from other readers about what they think is the cause and solutions to this crisis affecting us all. This has nothing to do with PDP and APC , it's about we Nigerians and the sufferings we are going through over this fuel scarcity issue. Yes the fuel marketers are unsure of tomorrow so they are hoarding the product, but this could sway to our advantage because Nigerians are already getting used to this lifestyle and when Buhari is sworn in they will have no choice but to dispense fuel to nigerians whether they like it or not because wherever they hide it, we will get it out by force . Nigerians are fed up already with these marketers and so they will become scapegoats. |

youngalex: You are right and wrong. Even if Buhari said he would remove fuel subsidies which I know he wants to, there are always uncertainties and fears during any handover especially where government institutions are weak. The fuel importers are only interested in protecting their investments. |

The mental health of many Nigerians need psychiatric assessment and evaluation. In my own theory, Nigerians need more suffering to enable us come to our senses and then fight the rot that is within. We need to stop being self centered and then look at the bigger picture. 4 Likes |

We Nigerians like to argue How about we find what the true problem is and try to find a solution to it..... I can for the life of me understand why Nigerians and The Nigerian government would make a situation that is easy to fix, so complicated... Kai We need serious prayers. |

Seun has allowed Nairaland to be hijacked by some elements that don't deserve to be moderating on a forum like this. Nairaland is not what it was some years back. I hate ethnicity but you cannot but be infuriated by what some idiots post on Nairaland. I will not comment on this post because of the level of reasoning of the op. 1 Like |

I see. Op, is this your reason for blaming Buhari? Then you need to go back to primary school. No application of logical thinking in your fact-less and sentimental post. In fact, I'm disappointed in your submission of the reason behind the current fuel crisis. It shows superficial research or investigation into the ongoing fuel scarcity is a herculean task to you, a labour your mind is not adequate to undertake. Just do us a favour and keep your childish opinion to yourself. Children are to be seen but not heard. If you think I'm a pro-APC or anti-PDP or a fan or hater of either then you're more foolish than I thought. |
