Who uses Lutian LT3900 here abeg... My lt3900 dries oil quickly after three weeks of use. I want to know if it's normal or the Gen is faulty. The oil alert trips the Gen off after three weeks and I'm not sure I should be changing oil that quickly.

That the problem of buying substandard gen, is not norm, ur rings are getting weaker, i will advice u to keep using it like that, till it get worse, then u can change the rings, even the engine block of the lutian dont hold rings, yes.

Prof. My 1800 was repaired recently. The piston and rings were changed and now it's making so much noise. I suspect that the piston is touching the top engine. Either the piston is longer than the engine block. I thing 1900 piston was used instead of 1800 piston. I want to hear your opinion. ASAP.

But was it making noise before the rings was changed? If no then, is ur con rod or crack shaft, or even bearings, mind u is not possible to use 1900 piston and rings for 1800 it will not enter the block

Would you recommend I go for this gen or another one? My budget is 100k. The gen is firman rugged, 3.1 kva.

My Generator of 1.5kw normal rating with 1.8kw max rating, can't power CRT TV 28inches and PS3 phat together normally, except if I high the Gen, but it's powering small photocopy machine normally.

Gen is Senwei Eco2020s.

What is the solution?

You've recommended lt3900 for people here and said it doesn't have a fake so I think that is the way the generator is made or maybe the rings are getting weaker like you said. I bought it brand new just 5 months ago and I don't see a reason why it should be drying oil in three weeks. Is there anyone using this same generator here and facing this same problem?

Who has an idea of the cost for the Carbutettor and Capacitor for this ECO - 1990S?

They put that big white capacitor once and I want to return to the type that comes with it. Also change the carburettor as it's consuming one litre and hour with 1 laptop and 1 standing fan.

Guys I need your collective input.

So I've a LUTIAN LT3900. Used it for the past year without any "major" repairs.

The current issue is that it shuts off within 30 minutes. I'm willing to share the backstory if that'd help in proferring a solution.

But the bottomline is that there's oil in it. It starts well. Even changed the carburetor just this evening. Still goes off soon after starting.

Hello Profs. Please, my Firman spg 2200 1.8kva generator runs for about 4 hours then it shuts down. I thought it was caused by low oil but even after replacing the oil, it still persists. Please, what could be the cause? After 4 hours I have to wait for more than 1 hour before I turn it own again because it refuses to come on when it shuts down
