Dear Agric-Prenuer Nairalanders, Kindly share your thoughts on what one can grow on a 2- Hectares plus farmland located somewhere around Abeokuta, Ogun state. There is challenge of water sourcing as the rains are epileptic and irregular even in raining periods in the area. Advise also how I can break this barrier of irrigation. I planted about 1600 Plantain suckers on around 1.5 acres of the total land space as a test but failed due to long periods of drought last year. I need any idea on what I can grow on it to get back at least cost of setting up the place. Thanks for the anticipated response. One Love! |
