I know this topic has been discussed to death but I would like to have an intelligent conversation about this topic. The western world has always portrayed non-whites, more specifically blacks as barbaric, regressive, and ultimately less intelligent. It is believed that comparatively speaking, we are inherently intellectually inferior to whites and this alleged inferiority is so deep-seated that it ultimately stems from our genes. I vehemently oppose this view and I think that there is a wealth of evidence(both anecdotal and empirical) against this view. I have noticed that given equal environmental factors( and in some cases slightly sub-par environmental factors) and strong cultural values( values that esteem education), Africans that I knew personally outperformed whites in education with very high consistency. There were whites that outperformed these africans but these whites were very few in number and were even outliers/geniuses and thus not representative of the general white population. In other words, the only whites that I've seen who were able to outperform african peers were at the very right of the bell curve, i.e the smartest whites. Additionally, I studied computer science and engineering in college and most of motivated african peers who were in stem fields had gpa's that are 3.3+, 3.6 was not uncommon either . This is significant because, in many university stem programs, your grades are contingent upon your performance relative to your peers. Stem fields are predominately white and asian . Consequently, for an african to have a high gpa means that he most have outperformed a monumental amount of whites and asians, meaning that the average african would outperform the average white and asian given similar environmental factors and strong cultural values. This is remarkable because language skills play a big role in your ability to succeed in school. Africans speak English as a second language yet they are still able to outperform whites when environmental factors are approximately equal. This must mean that contrary to the conventional wisdom(if it is even right to call it "wisdom" ) whites may be severely lacking in raw intellect compared to africans on an innate level and this isn't clear until environmental factors are controlled. Time for more empirical evidence.

I'm sure that many of you have seen the article titled " Are blacks smarter than whites" from africansource.com. The author explained the direct casual relationship between IQ and educational attainment. He explained that whites attain Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees at rates that are double the rates of african americans . African immigrants to Western countries attain these degrees at rates that are more than double the rates whites attain them. In other words, there's an equally(actually slightly bigger) large achievement gap between african immigrants and whites, in strong favor of african immigrants. Since african americans have an IQ of 85 on average and whites have an IQ of 100 on average, I would argue that being that the gap in achievement between africans and whites is larger than the gap between whites and african americans, african immigrants may very well have an IQ at is on average a least 15 points higher than the white average. This makes a monumental amount of sense since about 48.3 % of african immgrants have bachelors degrees and on average university grads have IQ's of 115( 115 -120, more specifically) , it would stand the reason that about half(48.3 % ) of all african immigrants have IQs of around 115!! Hence the average IQ should be around 115 and possibly higher, more specifically 115-120, 1-1.33 standard deviations above the white mean! Additionally, the author mentioned that asian immigrants also have noticeably higher rates of educational attainment than whites do and in fact an achievement gap of the magnitude that africans and asians have displayed in comparison to whites would suggest that whites must be at intellectual handicap when compared to asian and african immigrants because whites cannot achieve the same levels of educational attainment in their own institutions despite the advantages they have such as speaking English as a first language. I find that most people are willing to accept that asians are smarter than whites and would not be surprised that asians have higher rates of educational attainment. Additionally, most people would immediately attribute the superior educational attainment to superior intelligence and hard work. In light of that, can't they comfortably assert the same thing about Africans? I find that most people cannot wrap their heads around the possibility that blacks can be very intelligent. What do you guys think? How can someone argue against all of this? It seems like a powerful case to me.
