This is the single reason why a good Nigerian like Gozie will rather take out my phone and snap a fellow nigerian in dare need of help and post the pictures to the appropriate autorities so as to take it up from there rather than help d person. I know it is unfair from my part,but what would u rather I do? Absolutely nothing.

*dis is why nigeria still has a very log way to go. No one dares help someone in need or even help relay a useful info to the police simply because u will be arrested for being a good samarithan.

*why was that man arrested? For being good to a fellow nigerian? Some of u might think that he might be an acomplice. But let me ask u dis, if u were an accomplice,why would u take the wounded colleague in crime to a hospital on a car registered in ur name? Why would u leave useful infomation about urself to be traced knowing full well that the police will come looking for u? Why didn't u be on the run knowing fully well that ur partner has been shot and might be arrested?

I bless the hospital for being kind enough for treating a gunshot victim. Many have died needlessly due to hospitals rejections of these victims due to police harassment, intimidation and extortion. We must have human feelings.

Firstly, the man did the right thing to help an injured person. There was no way he could have known the guy was a criminal. In a civilized nation, a wounded person (crimimal or not) is treated before any other thing follows.

Secondly, where were the police when the good samaritan was helping the criminal? Do they think a fellow criminal would rush the wounded guy to the hospital and still wait there to be captured?

Thirdly, do they think the good samaritan "criminal" would watch the wounded criminal escape and not do so together?

It's obvious that Nigerian police is one of the most id*iotic, inept, corrupt and incompetent in the world. They were quick to catch an innocent guy while they let a wounded criminal slip throw their fingers.
