President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has stated that Nigerian former president, turned cleric, Olusegun Obasanjo, is a known election manipulator and not needed in
Zimbabwe.

Mugabe took a swipe on the Otta farmer who got into the country against this weekend’s presidential election, stating that the people of Zimbabwe don’t need his assistance.

According to Mugabe, AU’ s choice of
General Obasanjo as the head of the
Commission’s Monitoring Delegation was not needed by Zimbabwean people.

He said, “Obasanjo is a known election
manipulator whose democratic credential
has always promoted left wing politics right
from his days as the chairman of the
Eminent Peoples Forum”.
