MID SEMESTER BREAK

This is to bring to the notice of all students and the entire University Community, that the University of Nigeria shall proceed on a TWO-WEEK MID SEMESTER BREAK with immediate effect.

Consequently, all academic activities on the campuses are hereby suspended for the period.

Students are by this notice directed to vacate their hostels within the next 24 HOURS, ie not later than 6pm on TUESDAY, JUNE 02, 2015.

Yea,,the information is true. It is as a result of the protest by UNEC students yesterday night because of rationalization of generating light. What this means is that light are been shared among the various hostels. Each hostel will have light for only 2 hours a day, after which they will give other hostels. Students are still planning another protest this night if it should continue like that. That was why students are asked to vacate the hostels within 24 hours.
