The Christian Life.
# episode 1.
The christian life is the life of Christ.
It is not man trying to live like christ, it is
Christ living out his life in man.
Paul said; "for me to live is Christ".
The christian life is not a "changed life" but an
"exchange life", a substituted life and Christ is
our substitute for it is written " He hath made
Him to be sin for us. who knew no sin".
Paul said in Gal.2:20; " nevertheless i live: yet
not I but Christ liveth in me".
Everytime God looks at you, what He sees is
Christ.
Thereis no christian without christ.
So christianity is all about Christ. All of Christ
and none of man.
A regenerated man is not a renewed man but
a new man.
God does not strengthen the old man to
dominate sin, He removes the old man (the
sinner) entirely from action.
A christian is not the old man that became
new, a christian is a new man that has never
existed.
In dealing with Christ, God deal with the old
man. punished him, crucified him and buried
him. When Christ rose, a new man
regenerated to walk in the newness of life.
(Rom 6.)
The christian life is not us working for God but
God working in us both to will and to do. (phil
2:13).
It is not for us trying to please God as Christ
as already done that on our behalf and He's
still doing that but us trusting on Him that has
pleased God.
