it's time we make sure our leaders keep to their campaign promises

This thread is just to enlighten Nigerians on PMB campaign promises

1. Infrastructure
The Buhari’s administration promises to create
an enabling environment for all stakeholders
with unprecedented rebuilding of Nigerian
infrastructure, structures and systems.

2. Security & Conflict Resolution
The party promises urgently secure the
territorial integrity of the nation. It said never
leave the defense of the nation in the hands of
hunters, children, and civilian JTF.

3. Jobs & the Economy
Despite its significance to the national
economy, the oil sector has not spurred real
economic growth, has created very few jobs.
Gen. Buhari and his team pledge to fight to
strengthen country’s economy further and
create jobs for Nigerians.

4. Currency stabilization
The APC presidential candidate also said that
he would ensure that the naira was equal to
the dollar in value, if elected as a president. undecided undecided

1. Public declaration of assets and liabilities

2. State and community policing

3. Ban on all government officials from seeking
medical care abroad

4. Revival of Ajaokuta steel company

5. Generation, transmission and distribution of at
least 20,000 MW of electricity within four years
and increasing to 50,000 MW with a view to
achieving 24/7 uninterrupted power supply within
10 years.

6. Empowerment scheme to employ 740,000
graduates across the 36 states and the Federal
Capital Territory.

7. 720,000 jobs by the 36 states in the
federation per annum (20,000 per state)

8. Three million Jobs per year

9. Building an airport in Ekiti state

Buhari has no other option but to keep to his promises. Anything other than that will be seen as failure for me. After all, nobody forced him to vie for President in the first place.
