We've already know that the normal Christian life is Christ and we have discover that we are dead in order to live the Christian life. Now the question is how do we live the Christ? how do we live the normal Christian life. We live the normal Christian life by adhering to this principle stated in the Bible: " looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." And as we look "with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, [we] are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." (Heb 12:2 & 2Cor 3:18).

Therefore the principles are two, first is looking and the second is reflecting. Both are very important to live the Christian life. We do not try to live the Christian life because we already know that we can't, only Christ could live the Christian life. What then do we do? We look, we look onto the only one who could live the Christian life. We depend completely on him to live the Christian life through us. But first we have to acknowledge that we can't live the Christian life only Christ can and then we have to look onto him.

Before we can look we need to see. Remember that the one we are look onto is Christ the living word of God. Therefore we search for the living word of God and fix our eye, heart and mind on it. We do nothing else but trying to see Christ (i.e searching for living word of God).
We do not look at ourselves but we forget ourselves and the Amplified version puts it we "looking away onto Jesus". We look away from our struggle and difficulties, away from our failures and short comings, even away from our sins for we are not called to be sin-conscious but to Christ-conscious (Heb 9:14 & Heb 10:1-2, 22). Yes we do not try to live the Christian life we only try to look onto Jesus.
And also as we look, we look with the desire to reflect. As the Bible says we look "as in a mirror i.e we look with the heart of a mirror, with the motive and expectation to reflect. Some might confuse this part with working, trying to live the Christian life. But it is not you who work, "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." (Phi 2:13). Such works is not as a result of trying to live the Christian life but it is as a result of look. As we look we are allowing Christ work or live through us, that is what I mean by 'reflecting'.

Therefore the way we live the Christian life is by stop trying to live the Christian life and start trying to see and when we see we look away from every other thing (because God's word is true/real and every other thing is not) fix our eye on Christ with expectation and desire to reflect.
Now this is the principle of living the Christian life and it is all about Jesus. We look onto Christ and we reflect Christ as we are being transformed into Christ. It is not about holiness or sanctification or sin but it is totally and utterly Christ.

Life is practice at its expression. O Yes. Life is not death. Practice is actions, Interactions and Movements. And this is the expression of life and Christ in the living. And this is thiest and not athiest.

This is a general principles that is need in every aspect of the Christian life.

He is the author and finisher, the principle and practice of life. Christ is Character. Anything short of Christ Character in us is not good enough.
