There is a public believe that  Adams  Oshiomole, the governor of Edo State is the best governor in  Nigeria. The proponents of this drew their inference from both his individual and political lifestyle.
i want to know if the house has a different view

Too soon to tell!

He is not too different from the rest otherwise he would have made public the amount of money looted by Igbenedion and osunmbor. He should have sued them long time ago.

Don't be silly nuzo.

You think it is that simple to unravel the multiple contracts awarded to bogus agencies, or the inflated contracts or the ones that were not completed? What about other methods such as security vote and other scheming ways they could have used?

So he should sit down and spend his energies tracing how much was stolen and by whom instead of tackling the issues on the ground?

He may or may not set up a panel of inquiry. It isn't his first duty to be investigating past leaders - there are pressing needs of Edo citizens on the ground that need to be faced.

I agree with Brash - it's too early to tell.

You should not be silly too for thinking that its too much for him to investigate past leaders while doing other works. I mean, what is his job as a governor; shout as usual in the media that osunmbor is stealing spoons and plates from the government house?
Security vote is different from other monies allocated to the state. Or, are you telling me that the whole of the state allocations were used for security votes?

Pressing needs of edo indigenes? What is more pressing for edo people than knowing and prosecuting those who ruined the state for over 8 years?
Development is never going to come to nigeria until corruption is eradicated. And corruption can only be eradicated by exposing and punishing the people who indulge in this act.

Like i said before, he's no different from them until he exposes osumbor and igbenedion.

Personally, i think Oshimole should act faster than he is doing presently.
The infrastructural decay in Edo state is alarming, or does he want to maintain the
''ancient city'' doldrum of yore?

I am not trying to say he should not investigate previous leaders, you said. 'He should have sued them long time ago.'

All I am saying is that it is going to take a while to unravel what was stolen and by whom, and this should not be his PRIMARY focus at this time. If it takes time, how can you say he should have sued them long ago?

Adams is tackling corrupt contractors and reclaiming government property from past leaders, so he has definitely started the process. What I said was silly (apologies for the word) but more aptly, unrealistic, is to expect him to have completed the process already. He hasn't even been governor for 6 months.
