Now I'm a Nigerian woman all the way, but I grew up mostly in America where saying I love you is a big deal...but in my experience with some Nigerian men (especially those who grew up in Nigeria) they will just drop the "I love you's" after only 2 weeks of knowing each other..is this how guys toast you to have sex?? Do some girls actually like this?? And if so how do you know when a man truly means it when some men say it so casually?? What's the quickest you've told a woman you loved her.. Do the words even really mean anything these days.. Personally, when a guy tells me he loves me too soon I cut that off right away, and let them know not to even think of telling me such until it is something genuine and serious. I want thoughts   |

So when Guys tell you they love you after a week of dating is definitely to have sex with you or it's what you think? Personally, i think saying "i love you" to someone so soon like a week of dating is kind of weird, but if i feel like we are going somewhere with the relationship, and can sense his feelings, No problem. I'm not saying, i will definitely rush to that, My feelings take a long time to show Everyone is different. Some people might feel comfortable with "I love you" so fast, hence they feel the same way already. We handle emotions on different tangents. A man or woman who is soft hearted may TRULY mean those words after a week or two. There's no encyclopedia that fixed any time frame for falling in love. It's the genuineness you should strive to spot. |

Saying I love u to a girl is too risky for me Especialy to the singles and late twenties and early thirties ... it can mean a lot to them so I prefer I like you so as I won't be able to hurt them in future  |

In Ameria, if sayinq 'i love you' is a biq deal, then here in Niqeria, sayinq 'i love you' is a biqqer deal and sayinq 'i love you too' is the biqqest deal.. you have to watch out for when you say it and who said it to you (coz they may mean it or just to hype).. you should say it who you love and believes that love you too.. but not too often. |

Saying I love you to a spouse within one week of knowing that person is honestly not genuine. Tho, guys are fond of it just to get what they want, the girls are just so naive they cannot see through the deciet of that word.For me, 'I love you' take time to manifest. |

I didn't tell her I love her outrightly but she understands I care about her deeply enough to fall heads over heels in love with her when the time comes.
