We can't do anything without the environment. It's the only platform of survival we have. Destroy it today, and you've destroyed your own livelihood and that of the unborn generations.

We preach sustainable development. Use the resourcesto meet your needs , but don't jeopardise the environment for the future generations. That's sustainable development.

Pollution is one aspect we haven't taken seriously as a nation. Oil pollution is destroying lives and the environment in the ND. Ogoniland may continue living with polluted streams and soils for the next few decades. Marine pollution is here. Our rivers are a dumping site. An eyesore! Forrests and trees are hewn indiscriminately. No one cares. Money is all we seek! Too bad.

It's time to do away with that old and ineffective sanitation law. Environmental sanitation is an actively, ongoing day to day affair.

Let's keep our environment clean. Trek a few times. Don't always use the car! Don't waste the tap water! Drop refuses in designated places.
