1. Dr Bukola Saraki



Strength : Medical doctor and 2 term Governor  of Kwara State, Second Term senator with vast contacts across Nigeria's Political Spectrum, Experienced Politician , credited with agricultural revolution in Kwara via the Songa Project with Zimbabwean Farmers .
he has the support of emerging leaders of the party who desire to whittle down the Influence of top party hierarchy as well as the support of some elements in the PDP his former party. 

Weakness : The  Diversion Of depositor's funds to Private Use  in Société General Bank , Fraudulent loan buy back  at Intercontinental Bank, Multiple corruption scandals and allegations, Joy Petroleum saga, amongst others.


2. Alhaji Ahmed Lawan

Strength : has Been a Member of the National assembly since 1999 first as a member of the House of Representatives and now a 3 term Senator with lots of experience , He holds a doctorate degree in Remote sensing/GIS and has the Backing of majority of his party Leaders including Tinubu and Buhari as well as the CPC and ANPP components of the APC.
In the Sixth Senate, he served as: Chairman, Senate Committee on Public Accounts; Member, Constitutional Review Committee.

Weakness : The absence of any tangible contribution/Bill  to show for the 16 years spent at the National assembly is his greatest weakness , although he is seen as been relatively un tainted by corruption.
The decision of his party leaders to use the party’s NWC against his opponent might boomerang if senators choose to assert their independence.

I think Bukola Saraki wil win...I don't knw how but that guy is very strong and know to play politics like his Dad....back to when he wanted to impose Abdulfatai(now Gov of Kwara st) on kwarans against his father wish because his father wanted Gbemisola and he played it out winning the election..so I think he knows how to work out his way to anything he is intrested in.
