I went through a thread here stating that the 8th Senate as constituted was illegal because their was no legal proclamation.

PLS fellow citizens disregard such statement, the president sent a letter of proclamation to the Clark of the house, by doing so he has given the right to constitute the 8th house to the Clark and we all witness it live on air as the Clark states the content of it so, the 8th house was legally constituted and it's elected principle officers are legally elected, Apc should just accepted that PDP played a fast one on them and they are the master of modern opposition in Nigeria political history.

don't mind this people that is saying it is illegal, what was said by the Constitution is that the president will proclaimed the beginning of the new legislation but the Constitution did not state that the president will be there physically to do the proclamation. Once proclamation is done it Is done, he did his proclamation by sending letter to the Clark of the National Assembly with his official letterhead and seal, what other proclamation do they need for crying out loud?
