Jumia and Konga war is that of Tom and Jerry, there hardly comes to terms. Konga had to launch the Democracy Deals on 1st to 7th of June, the same period it was the Jumia Mobile Week Megathon in Nigeria. And it was a direct move to make sure its customers doesn’t switch, the firm had earlier ended its Mega App Sales a day before the beginning of Jumia’s Mobile Week Megathon.

Despite achieving a huge success in its Mobile Week Megathon, Jumia still had to force in Konga to be jealous of the infographic released during the seven days event across Nigeria. Well, no response yet from any of Konga or the founder, Sim Shagaya himself regarding the data released.

The #JumiaMobileWeek hashtag was hot as a trending topic across social media channels during the event and the infographic claims there were a total of over 100, 000 tweets with the hashtag. A figure that has an accompanying statement Even Don Jazzy has not trended that much.
