Barcanista & TANoids Missed IT by fulanimafia: 1:42pm On Jun 10, 2015 |
It has emerged that the victory of Lawan and Dogara was orchestrated by Atiku and the nPDP G5 governors (Kwankwaso, Wamakko etc) that defected to the APC, in an attempt to whittle down Tinubu's dominance within the party, and kickstart a grand plot to defect to the PDP and sieze it from the SS/SE. Its no wonder Saraki was nominated by Senator Yerima and Dogara was nominated by Hon. Abdulmumuni (Kano). This goes against every celebration and political calculation and prediction of Barcanista and his legion of TANoids who now face the risk of their party being hijacked by Atiku, SP Saraki, Senator Kwankwaso, Senator Yerima, Senator Wammakko and Fmr. Governor Babangida Aliyu. Keep in mind the Presidency is zoned to the North in 2019 and the PDP just appointed Dr Haliru Bello Mohammed as its new BOT Chairman after GEJ. The only victory for all Nigerians is the taming of Jagaban, that we can all celebrate. Our democracy has been rescued! www.thisdaylive.com/articles/how-g-5-govs-atiku-stopped-lawan/211636/ 7 Likes |

You keep going from thread to thread to give yourself "hope" but I won't bother arguing with you.
But I will again give you an analysis for the sake of those that don't understand. 1. The North has never supported a Christian Northern minority. Their preference has always been Hausa/Fulani.
2. The North has never supported a Kwaran against a "core" Northerner.
1. The Emergence of Yakubu Dogara as Speaker was a tactical decision by the Southerners. There was TWO big enemies, the APC cabal and the "New PDP" APC faction. The APC/Northern Cabal wanted Femi Gbaja so as to pave way for a core Northern Hon Moguno as Deputy. Over 150 Southerners (majorly from SS-SE) plus about 31 others voted against the candidate of the establishment to pave way for Yakubu Dogara, a christian from Bauchi state. This single act killed the Northern cabals plan.
2. The cabals wanted Lawan Ahmed as SP. However about 40 Southerners and 17 others(majorly from christian north and Kwara) instead went against the game of the establishment to elect Saraki. 51 Senators majorly from the core north and APC SW supported Lawan. It is very clear that the Northern establishment were beaten to the game. Another achievement is the discord created.
Yerima is a Northern politician. He knows that Lawan emergence as SP will mean he will be more powerful than him in Northern affairs. Kwakwaso is eying the Presidency and he wouldn't want another core Northerner to be more powerful than him, same with Atiku. Hence, their support for Saraki.
Three things were achieved: 1. It has nullified the postulation of the Northern cabals and Tinubu's machinery.
2. Because the fate and backbone of Saraki and Dogara rest on the shoulders of the almost 40 Senators and 140 Reps from the South, it means that the South will control the Houses and call the shots from the background.
3. Another achievement is that the consolidation of APC political structure has been dealt a heavy blow, with the PDP regaining its influence in the scheme of things. 35 Likes 6 Shares |

Nuff said. fulanimafia: What you fail to understand is that the Northern lawmakers ignored party lines to grab 2 of the 4 top offices in the Land. The real victory is for the CPC faction of the APC who wrestled back the party from Jagaban, and can now pursue their northern agenda, and PMB who has stood by his word and eliminated any blackmail Tinubu would have been able to hatch using the house/senate.
Some people have forgotten Saraki was nominated by Senator 'Sharia' Yerima (Zamfara). See the result -
President - NORTH Senate President - NORTH Speaker - NORTH CJN - NORTH
with the help of SS/SE Lawmakers who would hold onto anything as a result of their circumstances.
The fact that you don't see Atiku's hands in all of this proves you're a political neophyte, and those who swallow that tripe up there without critical analysis are just as lost.

You are copying journalistic opinion and hinging your hope on that. Let me again explain some basic things to you... 1. Yakubu Dogara was not supported by Northern power house. For avoidance of doubt, the Northern powerhouse is Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Bauchi and Niger states. In fact, Reps from Kano, Bauchi and Katsina states are three times more than the whole of Zamfara. Kebbi and Sokoto states. These Northern power houses wanted a core muslim from Yobe state to emerge Deputy rather than a Christian from Bauchi. If you take out the 150 Reps from the South, you will be left with about 31 votes that went to Dogara, while super majority of the Gbaja's 178 votes came from the North, specifically CORE NORTH. How many reps does Zamfara have? How many does Sokoto have? Can that be compared to Kano and Katsina? As for the SP ofcourse Kwankwaso want the Presidency so he can't allow Lawan to be the SP, same with Atiku. The north wanted a core North SP to xonsolidate on their hold of power. The PDP and South catched in by Supporting a NC and in process gaining the Deputy Senate slot for the SE, Deputy Speaker slot for the SW and taking out ALL the Northern plans from the system. How many core Northerner/Muslim was elected? ZERO! Did the PDP show SW that they love them? Yes by voting Hon Yusuf. Can Saraki and Dogara stand without the South and PDP? No! So we call the shot! Did Atiku and Kwankwaso play any role to influence the SS/SE and PDP? No! Will they benefit by hijacking PDP? No! They can only cut a deal because PDP powerhouse is the South and Christian North. What Happens to APC? Their unity has been shattered. The various camp (ACN,CPC and nPDP) are up against themselves. The PDP only need credible candidate to kick them out as a house divided can't stand. PS: The PDP will field a SEner as VP or Presidential candidate in 2019. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

The reps in the SS/SE[I'm including Edo here] make up just 85 of the 360 members of the house 2. If you add the reps from Ekiti,Ondo and Taraba you get only 106 representatives and Dogara had 182 votes 3. You claim that only christians voted for Dogara[Note that Taraba has 3 muslim reps] 4. The NW split their support between Dogara and Gbaja(so muslims from there voted for Dogara) 5. Dogara is from the NE and muslims from there voted for him 6. The NC was divided. The elections in the house went smoothly and Dogara emerged winner(he didn't do this without the help of MUSLIMS!)
