This is very sad, a promisng life cut off, just like that.
There is a rising wave of clinical depression among our populace, you see people committing suicide without stating the reason why they did so.
Our health services should promote awareness of the need for Nigerians to take mental health tests regularly as there are drugs, like Prosaic, that can help cure clinical depression.

Pls.even as I sympathise wif the Families of the deceased,I'd love to quickly sound it that as a bonafide Ti-tan(final Year Law Student-UNIBEN) there's no one with the name Iyoha Daniel in my class...His reported suicide is quite pitiable but on behalf of D Ti-tans, I hereby seek to clear the air and guide 'aright' every sympathetic member of the public. such misguided misinformation from PM news which has seemingly been making headlines on blog sites is incorrect as no ti-tan has committed any suicide cos the said Iyoha Daniel once again, is no student of the 500L Law class of the Great University of Benin.QED!!!

They don't know. If you ask me, this is a very strange case. People who are deeply religious hardly commit suicide. And then he was working and schooling, which would hardly give him time to be depressed. But apparently he was introverted - that is the only risk factor I can see here.

That's why parents should endeavor to discuss more with their children. A lot of people are very good at bottling up their emotions, feelings and challenges. They would look fine and calm outside but are going through a heck of a storm inside. Sometimes all they need is someone to pry beneath the facade that they are putting up.

yes, and not necessarily parents any one close to them, subsiquently parents should not push their children too hard or bombard them with family Responsibilities, i suspect a case of depression, anxiety or even stress and i am assuming nigerians do not know how to deal with this sorts of illnesses
