CURE : ADMINISTER TYLO DOX EXTRA UNTIL THE SYMPTOMS DISAPPEAR.
THIS SHOULD BE MIXED WITH THEIR WATER.
2 grams to 3 litters of water.

This thread brought back memories. My mum used to buy 30 broilers at once and after three months , we would go through them one by one and gave some out8). It got to a point I stopped eating all types of meat and settled for ponmo and fish.

You are not alone bro. I have chickens at home but I hardly eat 'em. I am presently into fish farming. I pray I don't get tired of eating fish too.

Broiler farming is not beans sha. But with the right vaccinations, weather conditions and attention, progress is sure.

So far we have lost 3 birds.
On the first 3 days of d chicks life,
: Put Vatalyte in their water, it is an anti-stress n glucose can also be used.
Enough light shld be provided also

Day old chick is how much and how much can it cost to start it on a low scale?

I use agrara first and vitalyte after 5 days for the broiler .I use newspaper for the first 2 weeks and then use saw dust .I buy a bag of saw dust, 100 and sell the sheet for 1k

biovit is advisable from day one because of the stress in transporting them around. it serves as anti-stress, vitamins and has other essential minerals.

for those asking for feed. broiler starter from week 1 to 4-5weeks, then you start with broiler finisher.(top feed is advisable, its expensive but you'll get your result).
vaccination programs
1. gumboro I on 7th day of arrival.
2. coccidiostant to be administered on day 12.
3. NDV Lacota on 3weeks.
4. Gumboro II on 4th week.
5. dewormer. on 6-7 days after gumboro II is administered.
6. you use growth promotant or booster which allows them to convert the feed into flesh faster.

NOTE.
After administering any vaccines you give them biovit or vitalyte the following day so as to reduce the stress they went through during the process and all the vaccination equipment should be properly disposed and those that need washing should be washed with disinfectant because if you don't they are live virus/bacterial. and you bury the container housing the vaccine too., if it drops on the wool shaving make sure you pack that part immediately and replace with dry ones.

Once you can practice hygiene in poultry you'll surely succee

That symptom can be caused by a lot of diseases. Treating diseases base on symptoms alone is try and luck. If you have small number of birds, you may succeed with it but with large number of birds, u can't afford to spend money on expensive drugs only to find out they're not effective. In that case, going for a lab test is better. You shud also have a vet that knows what he's doing.

I love this idea. Free ranging them in a plantation sounds good if you can secure the place.
