Manchester United are ready to test Tottenham's resolve to keep Harry Kane with a £40million bid for the striker. United have made Spurs and England star Kane their top summer transfer target after Real Madrid declared Gareth Bale is staying at the Bernabeu. (Daily Mirror)

But Daniel Levy has reassured Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino that he has no plans to cash in on Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, another potential Manchester United target, this summer. (Daily Telegraph)
