Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has backed the
move of Senator Ahmed Lawan to challenge the emergence of
Bukola Saraki as the Senate President, reports National Mirror.
The party urged Lawan, who was Saraki’s main challenger for the
position, to explore everything within the rights and capabilities of
the Senate to seek redress.
The decision to support Lawan was taken when the leadership of
the party met with Lawan on Thursday.
The meeting, which took place at the APC national secretariat’s
conference room of the National Chairman, John Oyegun, had
loyalists of Senator Lawan in attendance.
