Infact, there was a case where those that were fasting and working under govt were 'force-fed' during the last Ramadan.

Until bad elements of false teachings in the Muslim community are put under check....Nations will put necessary measures to check excesses. Just that banning fasting in the holy month of Ramadan is somehow..A step too far!

That's not good at all.
Not good for their reputation, economy and co.

This happens every year. China has her laws but restriction of Muslim fast is not one of them.

China is not known for religious tolerance - Christians in China often complain of religious persecution.

It is not just Muslims that are dealt with aggresively by the Chinese authorities.
