I use a BB Bold 9900 on Glo network and I tried to use my phone as a modem to browse on my laptop using its active BIS plan. At first it connected but suddenly it started redirecting me to a page asking me to buy data plan before I could browse again. I visited gloworld office and the attendant said it is impossible to browse the internet on laptop using glo BIS. I told him that it worked earlier but he refused to listen. Now I want the gurus to help me out. If I buy a data plan, can I still browse on my laptop using the Blackberry desktop manager? Please suggest altternatives for me, thanks
